Variable QR and RFID Encoding Quality Guide
Serialization quality depends on more than print appearance. Every identity must be allocated once, encoded correctly, verified and linked to the right product record.
Control identity allocation
Use a managed source for serial numbers and encoded values. Prevent reuse, duplication and gaps that cannot be explained.
Verify print and encoding
Grade visual codes where required, read RFID or NFC after encoding and compare the physical result with the expected digital record.
Handle rejects deliberately
Define how failed labels are isolated, destroyed, reissued and recorded. Never return an identity to circulation without an auditable rule.
Keep production evidence
Store job, time, line, operator, quantity, pass/fail and exception information so quality issues can be investigated and improved.
